„Pilot project on the establishment of (organic) food delivery services“
In partnership with organisation B.I.E.N.E. (Boden-, Bio-Energie, und Nachhaltigkeits Netzwerk NÖ|EU), the Local Action Group AGRO LIDER is implementing the project „Pilot project on the establishment of (organic) food delivery services“
Cooperation for Innovation and exchange of good practices are keys to deal with new situations and challenges. Austrian organizations are on the top in EU with innovative solutions, followed by wilignes to develop and implement those ideas to North Macedonia through working together and sharing knowledge to stimulate the development of good practices,
The project goal - Know –how transfer of action as necessity for less development countries as North Macedonia to deal with COVID 19 pandemic consequences.
General project targets
- Improve the delivery supply on (organic) food for older persons and other target groups, the diversification of respective distribution channels and the resilience of the food supply system in North Macedonia
- Contribution to sustainable employment for women and young persons
- Increase rural women’s participation in decision making processes and economic development
- Strengthening capacities of NGO´s in rural areas
- Increasing intergenerational cooperation
- Improve cooperation between relevant stakeholders in social sector
- Contribution to climate protection through respective targeted activities
- Contribute that rural women have equal access to social institutions and services
Activities
- Transnational Meeting in NMacedonia
- Thematic (on-line) workshops
- Establishment of an on-line platform for (organic) food delivery
- Workshops on the work of socio-economic enterprises in close cooperation with the Austrian Ministry of Social Affair, Health, Care and Consumer Protection
- Transitional employment, on- the-job- training, internship employment for 6 young people/ women
- Purchase of 2 e-bikes for the food delivery service to be established at the NGO LAG Agro Lider
- Purchase of LED lamps for the home of elderly in Prilep (Improvement of the living condition in the home for elderly in Prilep)
- Elaboration of policy briefs for the rural women's rights in terms of access to social protection rights and agricultural rights prepared and submitted to relevant public bodies
